Are you the one we’re looking for?

Reforest Southland is looking for new trustees to help with the governance of the trust.

You will be actively involved in making important decisions about the direction of the trust, the projects we undertake and how we engage with the community. You will have the opportunity to take on a specific position if wanted (e.g. secretary / treasurer) as we rotate roles among the trustees, or you may choose to stay focused on an area of your own expertise, e.g. strategy or planning. 

We welcome people from all backgrounds. Governance experience and / or involvement with other community organisations is desirable but not necessary. A passion for conservation and biodiversity is a must have. Whatever your previous experience we are looking for someone to bring their knowledge and, most importantly, enthusiasm to the role. 

Board meetings are held on a quarterly basis, including a yearly AGM. 

This is a volunteer role.
